A Young Artist with a Big Heart
Meet Elisa – A Young Artist with a Big Heart
Elisa is a 10-year-old French-Italian artist with a deep passion for portrait drawing and photography. Raised in a creative family touring with Cirque du Soleil, she grew up immersed in the arts. While she chose not to pursue the performing side of that world, she found her voice through visual art.
Working primarily with charcoal, Elisa’s portraits are deeply expressive, shaped by her vivid imagination and emotional insight. She is also drawn to photography, capturing quiet, meaningful moments that others might overlook. Both mediums are her way of observing and responding to the world.
Elisa lives with ADHD, and although it presents daily challenges, art provides her with focus, freedom, and empowerment. She is extremely sensitive to the emotions and experiences of those around her, and this empathy is reflected in her work. For her, art is more than expression it’s a language, a release, and a way to make sense of her environment.
Each piece Elisa creates is a window into her heart and mind. We gently guide her, never pushing only encouraging her to continue exploring her creative path in her own way. Like many young artists, she uses creativity as a powerful means to connect with the world around her.
It’s important to nurture this kind of expression, giving children the space and support to grow through art with confidence and a deeper sense of identity.
